defeated San in an exhibition A and I quarterback the contest with a 35-yard touchdown toss to flanker Alex Hawkins late in the final period His passing moved Atlanta on 77 87 and 79 yard sccrtig marches and set up Tommy 21-yard field goal in the second period San Francisco now 0-4 in exhibition games opened with George Mira at quarterback He guided the 49ers to a touchdown and a brief first period lead John Brodie took over in the third period and directed the 49ers into range for a 36-yard field goal by Tommy Davis Bill Kilmer finished up and his five yard pass to end Bemie Casey
