(R)-Vi This thriller can be compared to a dud firecracker with a 10-foot fuse lots of buildup but no delivery A babysitter (Carol Kane) is terrorized by phone calls and later is confronted by the film was made to be the most accurate portrayal of Jesus taking all of Us dialogue from tiie Gospel of Luke and being filmed entirely on location at 202 sites in Israel British Shakespearean actor P-ro National Lampoon's Animal House (R) another raunchy Hast from the past with John BehisN heading the pack of frat rats against the college Establishment of 1962 It was the high (or low depending tries to be almost a "West Side on roller skates with no social significance whatsoever The humor is pathetic and the acting is the pits but the film's music and movement are often entertaining Much comes under vicious black-humor attack A young attorney (A1 Pacino) loses his faith in truth and Justice after a bizarre run-in with a corrupt Judge (John Forsythe) accused of rape Too loud and too devastating and ultimately fails to make any point More diatribe than satire Mail: Daily at 7: 20 and 9 :45 pm Sat Sua matinees at 2:30 and 4:50 pm Apocalypse Now (R) Francis Ford long-awaited war epic is a magnificent almost mythical exploration of the darkest recesses of the human mind It is set in VietnamCambodia but its cope goes much much beyond that single battleground The story concerns the planned assassination of a supposedly perfect military man (Marlon Brando) who has gone insane but the (Martin Journey to find him is shocking and revelatory artistry and vision are superb Twin lakes: Daily at 7 and 10 pm Sat Sun matinees at 1 and 4 pm Avalanche Express -(PG) Not reviewed yet Suspenseadventure that centers on the attempted defection to the West of a very high-ranking Russian official (head of the notorious KGB) A team of American agents is assigned to make sure he gets through but a Harold and Maade (PG): Youthful Bud Oort and octogenarian Ruth Gordon are the exceedingly odd couple in this outrageous romp of lows and death Midnight Fri Sat at Pawnee Phantasm (R): Sleazy horror flick whose Mghlight is a ball with blades that goes around slashing everything to bits Midnight Fri Sat at Pawnee Rocky Horror Picture Show (R): Tacky low-budget musical tribute to transvestism with horror overtones A continuing cult classic in Wichita Midnight Fri Sat at Pawnee Tommy (PG): The Who's brilliant rock opera of a blind pinball wizard comes to bizarre life under the flamboyant direction of Ken Rumdl Midnight Fri Sat at Westway Wizards (R): Bizarre but captivating animated tale by Ralph Bakshi concerning the world after the holocaust when opposing wizards ruled a magical and sometimes scary kingdom Midnight Fri Sat at Pawnee Zardos(R) i Sean Connery runs around
