The appearance of a clerk in John Weaver's grocery store scared the fellow, who cut across the street Jo the rear of Charles E. Schuon's home. Mr. Schuon saw the fellow and gave chase. The man ran away, but returned in a short time.

Mr. Schuon then starter after him again, threatening to. shoot if he did not stop. The fellow gave no heed to the threat, but continued to run and escaped. C.
