Pierce, 40, is charged with murder in the slaying of Ann Goodwin, 19, whose body was found in the house where she baby sitting. General Sessions court, goes into session here today, and Solicitor C. Lavaun Fox said Pierce's trial would come up during the three-week session. He was convicted earlier this year in the death of 13-year-old Margaret Cuttino, daughter of James Cuttino, a former South Carolina state representative from Sumter, S.C.
