professional career Much has been said on both sides of this question but neither side will admit the other has provided a thoroughly convincing answer Protagonists point to the Uvea of many radio actresses and writers as proof that a woman may be a successful home maker and at the same time engage In a career either In the same Una In which her husband la engaged in anpther field Owen Vinson and Paulina Hopkins are cited as one of the outstanding examples For thirteen years their careers have run parallel and today they handle three major network productions They met In 1928 when Vinton took the male lead In a road company of Smilin' Through opposite Mist Hopkins Today they are responsible for the serial Midstream and the weekly comedy and dramatic productions That Brewster Boy and collaborate on his comedy scripts of which she Is the writer Then there are Jack Benny and Mary Livingstone Marian and Jim Jordan (Fibber McGee and Molly) Jack Carson and Kay St Germain Fred Allen and Portland Hoffa Frank Crumlt and Julia Sanderson Hal and Cornelia (Dr Kate) Burdick and others Actress Lauretta Flllbrsndt Is married to Russ Young NBC director and announcer Constance Crowder who puts in full day as a radio actress on both NBC and CBS networks is married to a commercial photographer Louise Fitch and Sunda Love who are heard In various serial dramas and other programs are married to lawyers The former has a small daughter and the latter a year old son Introducing Delma Byron used to play ingenua leads in stage productions and in Shirley Temple pictures Now plays a variety of roles in radio productions the most recent that of the young woman who is chased by the villain in The Mystery Man series FAN FARE Chips From The Radio Log tures woodwinds when he turns to playing instead of conducting started his musical career at the age of 10 by winning a violin playing contest As though Jack Benny has not had enough trouble with his famous Maxwell a sympathetic listener In lead In Every Man For Himself starring Lee Tracy She won the part which took her on a 19000 mile tour which Included Broadway and the West Coast Bryl was horn In England July 1 1920 and her first
