Grove Mrs Loraine Martin Mrs Loraine Martin 66 California died Thursday March 26 2009 at Capital Region Medical Center Jefferson City She was bom Oct 23 1942 a daughter of Emil and Agnes Nilg-es Bax in St Elizabeth On May 31 2003 in California she married Edward Martin who survives of the home Mrs Martin was a homemaker and worked for Ralston-Purina and Sears in Kansas City She graduated from St Francis High School Academy in Nevada Mo and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church She took pride in taking care of the church and cleaning it as well as cooking embroidery quilting fishing hunting and car-iri for her flower beds Also surviving are nine stepchildren 27 step-grandchildren 26 step-great-grandchildren eight sisters Leona Bax Independence Georgia McConluy ana her husband Paul of Loveland Colo Mary Foster Merriam Kan Irene Hoback with her husband Jim California Carolyn Schmidt with her husband Danny Sweet Springs Diana Kusgen and her husband Glen California Sharon Rustemeyer Salisbury and Sandy Bestgen with her husband Wade of Greenwood five brothers Da-rid Bax and his wife Winnie California Dale Bax and his wife Jackie California Leon Bax with his wife Becky Jefferson City Mark Bax and his wife Jennifer Henley and Jimmy Bax California She was preceded in death by two infant brothers one infant sister and one step-son The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 am Monday March 30 at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Henry Reichert officiating Burial was in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery The family suggests memorials to the Patricia loan Toler 74 Clarksburg died Monday March 30 200 at Capital Region Medical Center Jefferson City She was born July 4 1934 in Clarksburg a daughter of Frank Leonard and San Sappington Leonard On April 12 1953 at Clarksburg she married Jack Toler who survives of the home Mrs Toler was co-valedictorian of her Clarksburg High School graduating class of 1953 She worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue and then as secretary for the Clarksburg School She enjoyed cooking and gardening spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Also surviving are two daughters Brenda Edwards with her husband Archie and Lisa Knipp with her husband Jeff all of Tip-ton a brother Richard Leonard Higginsville five grandchildren Eric Edwards with his wife Krissie Kit Edwards Tanner Edwards Cole Knipp and Jordyn Knipp and three great-grandchildren Dylan Rylan and Ryker Edwards The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 pm Thursday April 2 at Mrs Shirley Marie Embry 70 Smithton formerly of Pilot Grove died Thursday March 26 2009 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove She was bom Sept 24 1938 a daughter of Harry and Mildred Kemper Duermeyer near Pilot Grove In 1963 she married Allen Dean Embry who survives of the home Also surviving is one daughter Nancy Embry Sedalia two stepsons Allen Ray Embry Sedalia and Gordon Ray Embry Tipton two
