M. PIERCE, HI FRIDAY MARENGO, April 19 The union Good Friday service will be held from 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock in the Presbyterian church. Friday. The two-hour service will be divided into 30-nanute periods of worship.

Five churches are uniting in this service, the Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians and the Evangelical and Reformed churches of Union and Harmony. Irene Woman New Poems Published Mrs. Rena Fox Lee of Irene has received a quantity of her second book of poems from the publishers. The new volume contains about 90 titles on religion, home, business and politics. It bears the same title as her first book but is much more complete. Though handicapped by deafness, Mrs.

Lee has found a sense of compensation in turning her thoughts into rhyme. She frequently composes a poem on most any subject for the entertainment of friends. She welcmoes the opportunity to try her hand on any new subject and invites all interested to get in touch with her. The first child born in an airplane was delivered to Mrs. T.

At the morning service a baptismal, dedication of children, music by three choir groups under the direction of Mrs. Harry Patrick and a sermon by the pastor, the Rev.v N.

L. Godbey, are scheduled. The evening service will be given to the dedication of the new memorial picture, "Christ, The Light Of The World," in memory of B. Standish, who served the church for 25 years as church school superintendent and who was active in every department of church work! This reproduction in oil of the world-famous masterpiece by Holman Hunt, is 4 feet high by 24 feet wide and will be illuminated by a specially designed art lamp. The Rev.
