Judith Carlene, 92, and Dianna Joanne, 7, have a baby sister with the arrival of Nancy Rath Cleek, born to the Carl Cleeks of Farmer City in Mennonite Hospital, A Jan. 9 baby, Nancy is a granddaughter of Mr.

and Mrs. A. Cleek of Champaign. She weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces at birth. The fifth child and third daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Edward Kom nick of Danvers has been named Barbara Eileen Komnick. She was born Jan. 16 at Mennonite Hospital where she weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Barbara Ei leen was born on the birthdav of her uncle, Charles Chaddon.

Grandparents are Mrs. R. Chaddon of 1612 V. Locust St. and Mrs.

Otto Komnick of 1003 S. Oak St. Other children in the Komnick family are Karolyn Jeanette, 11; Lary Richard, Darla June, 7, and Sara Charlene, 32. Delbert and Betty Jo Augsburg-er of Flanagan now have two sons and two daughters with the Jan. 13 arrival at St.

James Hospital, Pontiac, of Teresa Ruth Augsburg-cr. She weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Huddleston of Flanagan, for whom she was named, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Augsburger of Flanagan.

Other children in the family are David James, Barbara Jean, 5, and Mark Jay, 3. Mr. and Mrs. William Sutherland Jr. of Pontiac named their 7 pound 13 ounce son Mark Eugene Sutherland, in memory of the late Mark Enfield, longtime friend of the family.

Mrs. Enfield lives in Pontiac. Mark Eugene was born Jan. Id at St. James Hospital, Pontiac, and joins Mickey, 14; Susan, 11, and Billy, 7, in the Sutherland family.

Grandparents are the Minor Beans of Fairbury, formerly of Le Roy, and Mrs. William Sutherland Sr. of Pontiac. S. Sgt.

and Mrs. Donald Malone of Portland, are the parents of a second child, Michael John Malone, who was born Jan. 8 in Portland. Mr. Malone is a for mer Kempton resident.

Grand' parents of the 7 pound UV2 ounce boy are Mr. and Mrs. John Berg of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. William T.

Malone of Kempton and Mr, and Mrs. E. L. Amsler of Cullom William Malone Sr. of Kempton is a great grandfather.

Michael John is the Malones' second son. A Jan. 16 arrival at Brokaw Hospital was Todd Ivan Deffen- baugh, who weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Mr. and Mrs.

I. M. Def- fenbaugh of 14092 W. Grove St are parents of Todd Ivan and his two brothers, Kent Bradley, 11, and Mark Andrew, 7. Walter A.

are grandparents. a Named for his late great uncle, James Everett Hopp was James Andrew Hopp, who tipped the St. James (Pontiac) Hospital scales at pounds. Born the 16th of January, Jimmy has a sis ter. Phyllis Rae, 13.

They're the children of the Raymond Hopps of Dwight and grandchildren of Mrs. Andrew Emmert of Watse- ka and Peter L. Hopp of Dwight. Jimmy also was named for his late maternal grandfather, An drew Emmert. April Ann, 12, and Collette Lynne, 5, were joined in the fami ly of Mr.

and Mrs. William Armstrong of 210 W. Willow Normal, Dec. 30 by William Wal lace Armstrone II. A Brokaw Hospital baby, he weighed I pounds and 9 ounces.

Grandpar ents are Mr. and Mrs. L. Miller of Kankakee and the C. Armstrongs of Normaf.

Edith Zook and Noriss, all of Fisher. Two other children are deceased. Mr. Overmeyer and the former Stella Roth were married at the home of the bride's parents, the James Roths of Fisher. The cou- pie first lived at Fisher, then at Farmer City.

They retired from farm life 31 years ago. They have lived in their present home in Fisher 24 years. Mr. Overmeyer was a school janitor for more than 20 years. Since he suffered a fall about three years ago, he has been con fined to a walker.

Fairbury PTA To Consider Recreation Plan FAIRBURY (PNS) A corn- unity recreation program will be discussed pro and con by members of the Fairbury Parent-Teacher Association at the group's meet at 7:30 p. m. Monday at the high school. Children will be entertained with movies during the business session, which will include election of president to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mrs. Ben Roth.

The recreation discussion will in clude comments by George Yeck. who was in charge of last summer's recreation program at Fairbury. Mrs. Victor Armstrong will of methods of financing used Gibson City. Mrs.

Grapefruit and Avocado Cup Roast Leg of Lamb Browned Potatoes Green Peas Mint Jelly Bread Tray Filled and Frosted Angelfood Cake Beverage GRAPEFRUIT AND AVOCADO CUP Ingredients: 2 medium-sized grapefruit, 1 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper, Vz teaspoon dry mustard, 2 teaspoon paprika, teaspoon onion powder, 4 teaspoons red wine vinegar, 4 tablespoons olive oil, 2 medium sized avocadoes, paprika. Method: Peel grapefruit so no white membrane remains; cut segments away from dividing walls with small sharp knife. Do this over a strainer set over a bowl.

Reserve grapefruit se ments. (Drink grapefruit juice or save for some other use!) In another bowl put salt, pepper, mustard, teaspoon paprika, onion powder, vinegar and olive oil; beat together well with a fork. Peel avocadoes and cut into bite- size pieces. Save some of the whole grapefruit segments for gar nishing; halve the rest. Arrange avocado and grapefruit pieces in sherbet cups; dribble dressing over.

Garnish with whole grapefruit segments and paprika. Makes 4 to servings. Cullom Sociefy Elects Mrs. Malone President CULLOM (PNS) Mrs James Malone was elected president of St. John's Altar Society when the group met in the Legion Room Tuesday night.
