But here's the reason. These three men are good friends, being enlisted in Uncle Sam's, service at the Philadelphia navy yard, and the three chaps are old enough to be considered on the bachelor's list, in they are knownas woman- hat ers In a little meeting the other day tre eldest fellow said that he would like to hear a good sermon, as he had neglected church a little for the summer. He suggested that Frank, Talmage of the Chambers-JjV'ylie Memorial Presbyterian church would, he just the man to0give them a good religious talk.

They all de cided to go. The opening prayer was said, the scripture read, the collection taken. and the Dev. Dr. Talmage arose and announced as the subject for discussion, "How to Raise Children." The minutes seemed like hours, and as the doxology was being, sung these three men started the anvil chorus, "Stung! Stung! Stung!" Philadelphia Times.
