Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Bell was employed by GMAC for 36 years on the production line.

He volun- teered much of his time to coaching Khoury League baseball and softball. He retired from being a volun- teer fireman with the State Park Fire Department and devoted much time to the hall bingo. Jo- seph was a very giving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mi- chael and Mary, nee Mor- ro, Bell. Surviving is his wife, Frances, nee Fosnock, Bell; his sons, Davie Bell, Ronnie Bell, and step-son, Rolla Hoffman; his daugh- ters, Tina Bell and Tam- mie Bell; his grandchil- dren, Christopher Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Josh Kilbu- ry, Brandi Kilbury, Jeremy Bell, Jason Bell, Matthew Bell, Rolla Hoffman, and April Hoffman; his three great-grandchildren, Ella Warren, Sierra Finch and Jax Bivens; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Louis, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at her residence. Jeanette was a retired teller from Bank, St. Louis, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jo- seph and Julia, nee Kocu- rek, Bruske; a sister, Joyce Robinson and a brother-in- law, Robert Spencer. KASSLY FUNERAL HOME, Collinsville, Ill. Jeanette Bruske Keith M. 78, of Trenton, born April 15, 1937, in Fillmore, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Faith Care Center, High- land, Ill. Keith worked for the State of Illinois Depart- ment of Transportation for 32 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Trenton, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloy- sius and Thelma, nee Ernst, and three sisters, Mary, Mildred, and Bonelda. Surviving are his nieces, Laura Hill of Haslet, Tex- as, and Dianne Burris of Centralia, his neph- ews, Robert Hill of Arling- ton, Texas, Timothy Hill of Corsica, Texas, Ronald Hill of Bullard, Texas, Thomas Hill of Irving, Texas, and David Cook of Shawnee Mission, a brother-in-law, Chester Cook of Centralia, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. 4, 1934, in Ashley, died Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Gene graduated from Assumption High School in 1955. He worked for ZIV Steel Company in St. Louis, Mo. Gene retired from the Corps of Engi- neers.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, loved gar- dening, polka and dance. Gene was a faithful Chris- tian with much devotion to the Catholic Church. He was a longtime parishioner of St.

Cathedral and for the last 20 years he was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was known for the kind- ness he showed to his friends and those in need; running them on errands, doctor visits, and making sure neighbors had dinner on holidays. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jo- seph and Clara, nee Deer- ing Kult; three brothers, Leonard, Gerald and Ray- mond Kult; and two sis- ters, Rosemary Minton and Joan Niedzwieoki. Surviving are his wife, Janet nee Launius, Kult; his daughter, Laurie (Da- vid) Oberholtzer of Free- burg, his grandchil- dren, Ashley, Jillian and Evan Oberholtzer; his siblings, Caroline Jarrell of Patricia (Larry) Kaburick of Carlin- ville, Shirley (Mark) Holmes of Glen Carbon, Robert (Judy) Kult of Granite City, and Le- roy (Dottie) Kult of Lex- ington, Ky.

KASSLY MORTUARY, Fairview Heights, Ill. Eugene Kult Raymond A. Schaus, 85, of Granite City, born Sept. 19, 1930, in Lemay, was called home Sunday, No- vember 29, 2015. Ray worked as a Servi- soft owner, delivered the St.

Louis Post Dispatch, and worked as a partner with his son, Danny, for the Insta Rain Irrigations Systems. The United States Marine Corp veter- an proudly served his country as a Sergeant dur- ing the Korean Conflict, and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart medals, and the recipient of the Korean Service and United Na- tions medals. He was a dedicated member of Holy Family Parish in Granite City, Ill. Ray enjoyed watching the Cardinals, Rams, Blues and college basketball. He also loved eagle watching with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was an avid reader, enjoyed the symphony; the were his favorite. He was happiest when he had any part of his large family visiting him. His voice soothed every grandchild he proud- ly held. He will be remem- bered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Lee, nee Page, Schaus, whom he married on April 8, 1950, in St.

Louis, and who preceded him on April 22, 2007; a daughter, Anne Marie Benz; his par- ents, William and Anna, nee Bueltmann, Schaus; a daughter-in-law, Kathie Schaus; and a brother, Harold Schaus. Surviving are five sons and four daughters-in-law, Dave Schaus of Granite City, Richard and Vicki Schaus of Granite City, Robert and Cindy Schaus of Granite City, Dan and Carolyn Schaus of Granite City, and Mi- chael and Lora Schaus of Cahokia, two daugh- ters and sons-in-law, Che- ryl and Ricky Moe of Granite City, and Su- san and Greg Faulkner of Granite City, 21 grand- children; twenty six great- grandchildren; a sister-in- law, Marily Schaus of St. Louis, and other ex- tended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff from Gate- way Regional Medical Hospice for their wonder- ful care and compassion shown to our father and grandfather. Wilma was a home- maker and a member of the Easter Star.

She liked to travel and enjoyed cro- cheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, The- ron and Berenice, nee Aug, Spence. Left to mourn her pass- ing are her husband, Glen Stewart of Venedy, whom she married on Nov. 22, 1969, in Carbondale, two sons, Mathew Stewart and wife Khristine of Oakdale, and Daniel Stewart of Beckley, W. five grandchildren, Carly and Joshua Stewart, and Jordyn, Damon and Jeremy Stewart; a sister, Lena Hake and husband Orville of Carbondale, other relatives and friends.
