Mr. Conn apparently attached a hose to the exhaust pipe of his car and fed the hose back into the vehicle. He was found in his car by a passing motorist.

A tape recorded message was found on the seat of the vehicle by investigators. In the second incident, another Lincolnite, also 42, was reported in very serious condition in Bryan Memorial Hospital Saturday after he was found in his apartment with a self-inflicted throat wound. He was taken to the hospital where emergency surgery was performed, according to a spokesman tor the hospital.
