Gail Stoddard, was a passenger in the Krominga car. All five boys were injured and taken to St. Ann Hospital Algona, for treatment. Bill received lacerations of the head and leg; Don suffered internal injuries and a broken jaw; Jim had lacerations; Randy suffered a cut on the head and a broken leg bone; and Gerald, most seriously injured, had head injuries and severe injury to the left eye. He was taken to Rochester, Minn, for treatment Sunday morning.

The Titonka ambulance and Kieth Hofbauer, night policeman in Titonka, were called to the scene and took the boys to the hospital. Charges of failing to yield at a stop intersection were filed by Patrolman Bird against McKinney. Krominga and Parcel were released from the hospital Tuesday. Randy is in a cast from his hip to his toe, and will remain in it for about three months. Both automobiles covered by insurance, were a'total loss.
