The Rev. and Mrs M. H. Browet and had as Mother's Day family, the pastor's Mrs Mary Brower of Geneva, Ia.

The 'Algona Volunteer Fire Department are Having a picnic with their wives and families this evening, (Thursday) at the fairgrounds. The Men's Club of the Presbyterian church will meet for dinher Tuesday evening at 6:45. Rev. Davis, world traveler lecturer now of Humboldt, wili be guest speaker. Wava Woodward and Lee, Ellleen and Colleen Lawson went to Mason City Saturday evening on the train.

They visited Miss Woodward's brother and sisterin-law, Mr and Mrs Floyd Woodward and' attended a family. dinner. Mr. Woodward brought them home Sunday evening. The June Circle, young mothers group of the Methodist church, mel Monday evening at the home of Mrs W.

A. Bartlett. Mrs Donald Kajewski, Mrs Kenneth Brandow and Mrs Maurice Graham were assisting hostesses. The program on seven women of the Bible was given by Mrs Herb Hedlund. Mr and 'Mrs Glen Frederickson and two daughters of Des Moines visited from Thursday until Sunday of last week with Mrs Fredcrickson's parents, Mr and Mrs Roger Phillips.
