A message from Eingston -today announces the disappearance of C. J. Walmgley, formerly a clerk at Sabin brother andat George Ames in this city. Recently he opened a dry goods rtor at Kingston. The store has been closed since Sunday and the family and friends hare become alarmed over his continued absence.

I. The store was opened today and a search made bat no clew was found. Search has also been instituted in Belvidere bat Walmsley has not been here as far as can be learned. 5 BEFORE THE BOARD v' I Citizens Summoned to Explain Schedules Today and Tomorrow. The Board of Review'- has began gammoning tax payers before it to enquire into schedules.

Six or eight tax payers were summoned before the board this afternoon and about fifteen will be on the carpet tomorrow. The Alexander Lumber company was summoned today and the official responding was asked why his company had filed no credits on schedule. The company official replied that these are filed at the head office in Chicago and therefore payable in Cook county instead of in Boone. The Board took the matter under advisement. Death Belisved to have Been Dae to Nervous Disorder Has Two Sisters Living la Belvidere Friends 'Shocked by the News. 4- Tne many Belvidere friends of Dr. Thomas J. Clancy will be shocked to learn of his sudden death at Scales Mound yesterday. Word received here would indicate that he dropped, dead.

Dr. Clancy baa two sisters here, Mrs. Daniel Marker and Mrs. D. Mc NeiL He was located here about three years ago and dnring the time of his residence here had an office on the east fide of State street between Buchanan and Logan avenue.

Ijle made many friends and they trill' be shocked to learn of his death. He spen a portion of a day here only a short time ago. In port speaking of his death the Free- Democrat says: Drl Tbomaa J. Clancy, of Scales Mound, died at his home there unexpectedly of a nervous disorder yesterday, and the remains were brought here this morninsr and taken to the home of his" parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Martin Clancy. Funeral srevioes will be held at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock tomorrow forenoon, i the Rev Father DuFour to be the officiating clergyman. Dr. Clancy was but 33 years of age, and was a capable young physician, with tbe promise of a fine career be- fore him, and his death is deeply de- plored.

Dr. Clancy is survived by his wid ow, parents, five brothers, John. Mat- thew, Daniel and William Clancy, ofi Freeport, and -James, of Pearl City, and three sisters, Mrs. Lee Slough, of I Evansville, Ind. Mrs.
