The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and William Furman Mauldin and la a graduate of Converse College at Spartan-1 burg. The groom Is a ton of Mrs. Carl Johnson Blackmon of Chappelli and the late Mr. Blackmon, Mr.

and Mrs. Blackmon will live at Fort Monmouth, "vhere Ik mmddm J. Im mlllt-M. ea return from a wedding trip. The bride's father gave his daughter la marriage.

For her wedding gown, the i bride chose a pearl white silk -'eatla and ChantUIv lace dress with extended yoke and sleeves re-embroidered In aeed pearls. The oval neckline fea tared scallops with pearl embroidery. The Cathedral train was apptlqued In lace and em- broldered la seod pearls and flowed part of the bouffant skirt On bar head the bride wort awatteau of polished calla lilies, to which were attached circles of French Illusion, overlaid with a rosepoint lace veil, which she brought from Brussels, Belgium, this summer. She carried a cascade bauquet of Uly of the valley centered with white orchids. Maid of honor was Miss Judy DeLenf of Roanoke.

Va. Bridesmaids were Miss Dody Maul-die of Greenwood and Miss Betsy Glenn of Asheville, N. both cousins of the bride: Miss Rebecca Hinet and Mrs. Ronald Wise of Greenwood and Mrs. Leland Burch of Greer.

Miss Kellah Mauldln, sister of the bride, waa Junior bridesmaid. The bride's attendants were dressed alike In brocade pole de sole, champagne-colored. The gowns were designed with a flat bow attached to the oval back, which featured a full street-length skirt They carried cascade bouquets of bronze Shasta chrysanthemums and croton leaves in autumn colors. Flower girl was Sylvia Gil- 'II a am it a background of natural palms and an altar arrangement of white gladioli and giant axd pompon chrysanthemums. Bouquets of white flowers were used on the wrought-! roo candelabra, used on the aisles.

Family pews were marked with white satin and net bows arranged with pompon chrysanthemums. Dr. A. Elbert Adams was at the organ and Miss Lucie Randolph Sparkman of Aiken sang. Best man was James Powell Biackmon of Houston, Texas, brother of the groom.

and Mrs. A. R. Drummond were hosts Wednesday to approximately 29 members of the June graduating class at Ninety Six High School who had made the Washington. D.

New York City trip last May. The two couples entertained the group at a hamburger supper at the Drummond Lake Greenwood home. Gusts ski'ed, swam and later danced to high fidelity recordings. The bride's mother wort a tiered green lact dress with pole de sole trim; matching acces-v sories and a white orchid cor- sate. Mrs. Blackmon, mother of tht groom, was dressed In Dior blue with black acessoiies and a black velvet evening hat and a white orchid corsage.

Mrs. W. A. Mauldln, paternal grandmother of the bride, ras dressed In a shaded blue gown with accessories matching the darker shades of blue. The bride carried a handkerchief which Mrs.

Mauldln had carried In her wedding. Mrs. A. Galphla Murray of Beech Island, the bride's maternal grandmother, wort a Jeweled-toned blue lace dress with matching aceestoriee. Both grandmothers wort orchid tor ages.

The reception was Uvea by the bride's parents at the Oregon Hotel. Ballroom decorations were In green and white with natural palms, schfelleriai and green and white caladlums forming a background for the bride's table and refreshment table. Highlight of the room was the four-tiered bride's cake decorated with giant and Phaelon-opels orchids, all white. Lilies of the valley and a trace of greenery pointed up the cake which was set on a stand. The table waa covered with an imported linen and lace cloth.

Twin silver punch bowls were set at enther end of the refreshment table, which was covered with a mint green taffeta cloth with gathered flounce to the floor. A silver pedestal container held an arrangement of white snapdragons, pompon chrysanthemums, stock and carnations, mums, stock and carnations. Cascading from epergriettes on the branched silver candelabra on either side of the cake were similar flowers interspersed with mallne piffs. A buffet was served to wedding guests. The bride wort a three-piece magenta suit in early fall material with a matching velvet hat Her cceage was an orchid from her wedding bouquet Miss Julie Withers was proxy for the bride at the wedding rehearsal.

Mrs. Robert Spencer Roddey and Miss Betsy Stockman kept tht bride's book at the reception. Guests were from Columbia, Clinton, Chsppells, Aiken, Laurens, Spartanburg, Greer, North, Beech Island, Asheville, N. C-, Charlotte. N.

Camp In Greenwood. The groom Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. W.

Richardson of 633 East 80th Indianapolis, Ind. Lieutenant Richardson is with the 1611th Air Transport Squadron. Lieutenant and Mrs. Richardson will leave for Chateauroux, France, In late September, where he will be on a military assignment. Mrs.

Richardson studied in France while her parents were In Europe, when her father was stationed there with the United States Army. The candlelight marriage ceremony was performed at 7 p.m. In the McGuire A.F.B. Chapel, where a nuptial background held an altar arrangement of white flowers flanked by four floor seven-tiered candelabra. Eighteen aisle candelabra marked the pews.

Lt. Col. Joseph Andrew, Air Force chaplain, heard the marriage vows. Colonel Wallace gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore a white silk Alpaca wedding gown designed with bell skirt, scoop neckline, three-quarter-length sleeves and a panel train, chapel length.

A motif embroidered in seed pearls covered the dress. A pearl tiara held an elbow-length bridal veil of silk illusion. Her bouquet waa of white Phaelonopsls orchids and smilax. Maid of honor was Miss Virginia Wallace, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Mrs.

Robert Davis of Greenwood, the former Jackie Patrick, Miss Let Shepherd of Lumberton, N. and Miss Becky Bruce of Mlne-ola. Texas. The bride's attendants were gowned in long turquoise blue satin dresses featuring bell skirts. Their headpieces were of matching aatin and net.

They carried gardenia bouquets. Miss Susan Form an was flower girl. She wore a long white taffeta dress with a turquoise sash and carried a basket of gardenias. E. W.

and Mrs. Preston Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Craig. The bride was dressed in a Delft blue chiffon gown with fitted bodice and full skirt Her accessories, matched as did her costume jewelry.

She wore a tuberose corsage. Tables were set up throughout the ballroom of the club, with centerpieces of wh'te double althea and pink rosebuds. The dining room was the focal point of a deep rose color scheme. The table, where dinner was served buffet was covered with a white cloth overlaid In deep rose tulle. In the center of the table stood a giant silver pedestal container holding roses in shades of pink.

This was flanked by silver candelabra holding pink candles. Placed in front of a large mir-row on a sideboard were two rose-colored satin hearts, centered with nosegays of pink roses. This piece rested in a nest of tulle puffs. A branched silver candelabrum stood off side. A serving table was treated in a similar manner and the mantel was lined with pink candles in tulle puffs with a tracery of clematis.

Punch was on the porch of the club house against, a background of palms and in a setting of garden lights, which were draped in miniature Ivy. Dinner music was played on a high fidelity record player. MRS. JOHN Usher-groomsmen were Capt. Laurence Donatio, Capt.
