Today's Fashion Notes By Aileen Lamont. Copyright 1926 by The Daily Pantagraph. By Special Leased Wire. New York, July is no indication of the return to the mal waistline seen in the midsummer dresses. On the contrary the newer models have the belt at least an inch lower thap on the spring models and the latest blouses are quite two inches longer than those worn two months ago.

There is no attempt being made to lengthen the short skirts and the correct length remaine just below the knee. Matches. There is no limit to the effort, to make various wardrobe accessories match. Envelope-shaped bags are being sold to match shoes, with telope and lizard a favorite for both. Bags and parasols are frequently decorated with similar embroideries.

Tapestry is used for one charming with the bag en suite. One of the new shades for stockings which goes with lizard shoes is known as "wolf." Ruffles. The newest neck -pleces seen in the smart shops resemble nothing 50 much as the ruffled collar worn by the clown dog in the circus. They are usually fashioned of frills of ostrich plumes and ribbon or made from the brightest of taffeta. They are fastened with enormous bows cuddled under one ear by big cluster of artificial flowers.

White and Black. So tar as sport clothes are cerned, white and combinations of white and black unquestionably are most popular. The materials may be chosen from wide range but an admixture of white is almost universal. Madras, silk broadcloth, crepe de chine, Chinese Damask, Jap silks, and Irish linens all are employed.
