Lee Bean, Mrs. Bert Banner and Mrs. Taylor Crammer assisting. Missionary Club Has Meeting MORTON. (PNS) The Junior Missionary club met Friday at the home of David Bachman, witn tne new organization officers, Roger Miller, president, and Herbert Roth, secretary in charge.

Memory work repeating of Bible scriptures, followed. The evening was spent siuaying Christ's travelogue, which is a travelogue game played with the scripture verses from time of His birth, until Ascension. The nevt meeting will be held March 10, with Donald Eisele with scripture verses to De learned in the Bible study success. This group, organized with 14 boys between the ages of 8 and 14 years, held their first meeting Friday.

They will continue each month, but will also have a project, to till the soil, and raise corn and pumpkins on two acres of land given for this use by Mr. Miller. In the harvest time the money derived from the sale, will be used for missionary purposes for the Morton Mennonite church. at the Otto-Vincent funeral home in Danvers. He was a member of the Christian Apostolic church. James Leininaer nncriM ri i'v mM limp Philander Leininger died Sunday at his home near here. He had been ill two weeks. The body was taken to the Culp funeral home here where it will remain until the services. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

He was born April 5, 1883, near Mason City, the son of John and Ruth Frazer Leininger. He had lived all his life in this community. He married Miss Mary Bitner at Greenview Aug. 16, 1909. Surviving are his wife: three sons.

John, Glen and Carol, all in the navy; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Bailey, Mason City; Miss Mnrinrie. at. home. A son.

Oliver, died in an airplane crash in for eign service last year. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Sullivan. Mason City; Mrs. June Houchin, Peoria; and a brother, Walter, Bloomington.

Lowell Smith DEER CREEK. (PNS) Lowell Eugene Smith, five years old, died at St. Francis hosnital. Peoria, Saturday night following an attack of measles. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
