Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pullen-Boos Funeral Chapel, Clinton, with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney. There will be no visitation.

She was born Nov. 5, 1892, at Tunbridge Township, a daughter of Frank and Nora Watson Kirby. She married Oscar Cromwell Feb. 16, 1911, at Clinton. He died Nov.

10, 1972. Surviving are two sons, Raymond, Kenney, and Dean, Clinton; a daughter, Edna O. Smith, Kenney; a brother, Lester Kirby, Kenney; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A daughter and a brother preceded her in death. Illinois extended Tuesday through Thursday: partly cloudy north.

Skies were partly cloudy in New England and along the Atlantic Coast, while there was generally fair weather in the rest of the nation. Evalyn Myers LEXINGTON (PNS) Evalyn Myers, 75, of Lexington, a former teacher, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Brokaw Hospital, Normal.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ray Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Cemetery, Kenney. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Musselman Funeral Home.

He was born March 19, 1906, at Ottawa, a daughter of William A. and Frances Wightman Swift. She married Dallas Myers on July 4, 1930, in Pekin. He survives. A son preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She taught at the Kenney and Beason high schools. She was a graduate of Ottawa University, Ottawa, and was a volunteer worker at Lexington nursing homes. She was secretary of the Lexington American Legion Auxiliary and gave special help to Danville Veterans Administration Hospital. She was very active in Lexington schools.

Memorials may be made to the Lexington Ambulance Fund. Rosetta McCann GILMAN Rosetta Tholen McCann, 77, formerly of Gilman, died at 6:08 a.m. Friday at Med-Inn Convalescent Home, Munster, Ind. She had been a resident there for more than one year. Her funeral will be at 8 p.m.

Monday at Bocken Funeral Home in Hammond, Ind. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gilman Cemetery. She was born June 16, 1904, at Cullom. She was a daughter of A.

Frank and Etta Saathoff Tholen. She married Chester McCann Aug. 16, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and one brother. Surviving are two sons, Robert, Fort Lauderdale, and John, Riverside, two brothers, Ed-, ward Tholen Ashkum, and Francis Tholen, Gilman; seven grandchildren; and several great-gran-children.

She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Hammond. Showers are expected today for Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Washington Suite CENTRAL ILLINOIS Wilbur Moritz BENSON (PNS) The funeral of Wilbur H. Moritz, 56, who died Friday night at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Remmert Funeral Home, Roanoke, the Rev. Robert Halsey officiating. Burial will be in St.

Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by Benson American Legion. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. He was a resident of the Good Samaritan Home at Flanagan, since an accident in November 1967 that left him a quadraplegic. He was born Jan.

28, 192S, at Benson, a son of Albert and Fenna Baumann Moritz. Surviving are his mother, Benson; a daughter, Renee D. Moritz, Tucson, Ariz. and a brother, Ernest Roanonke. His father preceded him in death.

He worked at the Benson Farmers Elevator and Hysters Co. of Peoria. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Benson and a life member of Benson American Legion Post. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Paul McKee MANSFIELD Paul I. McKee, 70, Mansfield died at 9:53 p.m. Friday at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. His funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Monday at Stensel-Calvert-Belangee Funeral Home, Mansfield, the Rev. Keith Gaither officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. He was born May 28, 1911, at Mansfield, a son of Orville I.

and Mae Haines McKee. He married Charlotte Williams Jan. 8, 1932, at Covington, Ind. She survives. Also surviving is a sister, Maureen McKee, Farmer City.

He was preceded in death by two brothers. He was retired after working a Civil Service transportation job at Chanute Air Force Base. He formerly owned McKee's General Store. His family had run the business from 1911 to 1979. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Mansfield American Legion and Rantoul Veterans of Foriegn Wars. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. IDOT awards Central Illinois road contracts The Illinois Department of Transportation has awarded $9.2 million in road improvement contracts for projects throughout the state, including Central Illinois counties. Bids approved for area work were: $53,470 to R.A. Cullinan Son, Tremont, for less than a mile of concrete patching and resurfacing on Illinois 122 from one mile west of Hopedale to Hopedale.

$107,632 to Geo. E. Hoffman Sons, Peoria, for 1.83 miles of patching and intermittent resurfacing at five locations on U.S. 24 from the west edge of Eureka in Woodford County to the Tazewell-Woodford County line. $37,025 to Ulrich Contracting Lebanon, Ohio, for paint and thermoplastic pavement markings, delineators and signing at various locations in Bloomington, German-town Hills and Peru.

$555,755 to Tobey's Construction Cartage and Watson Bridge Drainage, Herscher, for removal of two structures and one superstructure and to replace all with deck beams, all over drainage ditches on Illinois 115, within 6 miles of Piper City; contract also includes surface approaches. $445,950 to James Davidson Constructors Dickinson, Texas, for road markings on a road, from the intersection of Illinois 88, southwest to north of the Interstate 474-74 interchange, near Peoria. Immunization clincs slated this month The McLean County Health Department will conduct two immunization clinics during August. The clihics will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday and Aug.

21 at Sun-nyside Community Center, 1612 W. Olive St. Walk-in clinics are available at the Health Department at the Fair-view Building, 905 N. Main Normal. There is no charge.

ON THE RECORD John Matson WAYNESVILLE (PNS) John F. Matson, 89, died at 10:50 p.m. Friday at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m.

Monday at Pullen-Boos Funeral Chapel, Clinton, the Rev. Harry McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Way-nesville. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the chapel. He was born May 30, 1892, at Waynesville, a son of Rudolf and Mary Matson.

Surviving are a son, William, Waynesville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A son, a brother and a sister preceded him in death. He was a World War I veteran and a charter member of Waynesville American Legion. He was a retired blacksmith. Juanita Carroll RUTLAND (PNS) Juanita Carroll, 59, died at 8 a.m.

Saturday at Ottawa Community Hospital, after an apparent heart attack. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rutland Christian Church, the Rev. Mike Openshaw officiating. Burial will be in Rutland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator. She was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Franklin, a daughter of Paul and Hazel Knifley Goode. She married Garlin Carroll July 26, 1941, Liberty, Ky.

He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda Cave, Streator, and Lisa Carroll, at home; two sons, Frank, Neilville, and Larry, Kangley; a brother, Steve, Ottawa; a sister, Arvy Carroll, Louisville, and five grandchildren. Mrs. Darmstaedter LEROY (PNS) A graveside service for Catherine Darmstaedter, 72, who died Friday, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Grove Cemetery, the Rev.

Bruce Calbreath officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Bruce Memorial Home. She was born Dec. 2, 1908, in Chicago, a daughter of Thomas and Isabella Watt Morton. She married George W.

Darmstaedter Nov. 30, 1930, in Evanston. He died April 25, 1977. Surviving are two sons, George W. Darmstaedter LeRoy, and William II, Manchester, a brother, William Morton, Lake Village, and a grandchild.

A sister also preceded her in death. She moved to Leroy in 1959. She was a member of LeRoy First United Presbyterian Church, to which memorials may be made. Verna Collins EUREKA (PNS) Verna O. Collins, 75, a resident of Lutz, for three years and formerly of Eureka, died at 5:30 a.m.

Friday at University Community Hospital, Tampa, Fla. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Eureka, the Rev. Gary Hedrick officiating. Burial will be in Secor Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 22, 1905, in Blue Mountain, a daughter of Larkin S. and Sarah Gardner Cox.

She married Ola O. Collins Oct. 11, 1925, in Hartshorne, Okla. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, the Rev.

Wendell Muskegon, and Jack, Largo, a daughter, Vivian E. Adams, Land-O-Lakes, a sister, Ila Smith, Fort Dawson, and 11 grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Odessa, Fla. BAMK E. Washington St.

BLOOMINGTON NORMAL Gladys Harris Gladys F. Harris, 88. of 202 W. Locust formerly of the Fairbury and Colfax areas, died at 10:50 p.m. Friday at Mennonite Hospital.

She nad been ill a month. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, the Rev. Simon Simon officiating. Burial will be at Wiley Cemetery, Clnfax Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Mrs.

Harris tcnight at the memorial home. She was born May 23, 1893, in Ellettsville, a daughter of Felix Grundy and Clara Pitts Hite. She married Glenn C. Harris on May 30, 1913, in Bloomington. He died in 1966.

Surviving are two daughters, Laurie Koehl, 903 E. Emerson and Flora Armstrong, 106 N. Belmont six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister. She was a member of Colfax Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. John Meador The graveside service of John V. Meador, who died Friday morning at Mennonite Hospital, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Park Hill Cemetery. The Rev.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a half brother. He was a member of the American Finance Association and the Midwest Finance Association.
