to Saudi Arabia produced a dramatic breakthrough Tuesday as 10 senators openly threw their support to the president and put him in striking distance of victory when the Senate votes on the package million in improvements needed at the facility The zoo the largest between Sacramento and Fresno has lost its accreditation from the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums which says animal facilities at the 25-year-old zoo must be upgraded The biggest concern is that Maggie the 400-pound polar bear and the lions tigers leopards wolves coyotes dingos and other large animals have too little space to move around The zoo six miles north of Stockton in a 60-acre grove of oak trees near Highway 99 will not regain accreditation until the facilities are improved the association says practitioner Lethin of San Francisco is one of only a few medical doctors who practices holistic health He estimates there are about 1000 of his peers in California where 45000 physicians are licensed to practice The doctor whose credentials include a medical degree from Yale University and acceptance into the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Nephrology is certified in bioenergetics a melding of the mind and body in treatment He spoke about bioenergetics last year in Modesto One physician a psychiatrist attended the session Lethin believes more and more doctors eventually will accept the holistic mind-body-spirit approach not as an alternative but rather a supplement to medical treatment But today Lethin admitted many of his peers do not understand his interest in holistic health traditional medicine especially with the new technological advances it is easy for the whole patient to be overlooked Too often a feelings are not taken into Lethin said
