Sunday at Mercy Hospital, Urbana. His funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Piper City United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Brenton Cemetery.

Weisenbarn, 20, of 235 S. a saleswoman at Larson's Men's Clothing Store, who was killed Saturday in a collision of a pickup truck and van near Paxton, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown-Miller Funeral Home.

The Rev. Roger James will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 3, 1957, in Champaign, a daughter of William and Diane Shilts Weisenbarn. Surviving are her parents; a sister, Mrs. Edna Miller CONGERVILLE (PNS)-Mrs. Edna M.

Miller, 88, died at 7:27 a.m. Sunday at Mennonite Hospital, Bloomington. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Congerville Mennonite Church, the Rev. Leon Martin officiating.

Burial will be in Imhoff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Carlock, and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church. She was born Sept. 28, 1889, in Congerville, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Miller Detweiler.

She married Joseph B. Miller Feb. 9, 1909. He died June 6, 1955. Surviving are five sons, Owen Miller, Ronald Miller and Harold Miller, all of Congerville; Clyde Miller, Tremont, and Glenn Miller, Hudson; two daughters, Miss Lucille Miller, Congerville, and Mrs.

Mary Engel, Kalamazoo, 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A son, a brother and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller was a member of Congerville Mennonite Church. Memorials may be made to the church building fund.

Mrs. Nellie Essington CABERY (PNS)-Mrs. Nellie S. Essington, 80, a lifelong Cabery resident, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday at Riverside Hospital, Kankakee.

She had been ill three weeks. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stewart Funeral Home, Cullom. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Kankakee. Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born June 4, 1897, near Cabery, a daughter of William and Amelia Hurst Sargeant. She married Otis B. Essington Sept. 15, 1920, in Kankakee.

He died in January, 1971. Surviving are a son, Gordon Essington, Bradley; a daugher, Mrs. Avis Schultz, Kankakee, and four grandchildren. A granddaughter, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Mrs.

Essington was a member of the Cabery United Methodist Church and the Kempton American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to Riverside Hospital, Kankakee. Mrs. Laura Hammer ANCHOR (PNS)-Mrs. Laura A.

Hammer, 74, rural Anchor, died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, near Anchor, the Rev.

Alexander Youck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City. She was born Jan.

28, 1903, in Effingham County, a daughter of August and Matilda Minning Niehoff. She married Theodore Hammer Sept. 23, 1929, in Indianapolis, Ind. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Hulone Scheider, Freeport; two sons, Donald Hammer, Anchor, and Wayne Hammer, Fairbury; two sisters, Mrs.

Lucy Carter, Stillwater, and Mrs. Caroline Huelskoetter, Altamont; a brother, Henry Niehoff, Altamont, and six grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Hammer was a member of St.

John's Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Society, and a charter member of the Gibson Community Hospital Auxiliary. She was an Anchor-area resident 29 years. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Lutheran Welfare Fund or the American Cancer Society. Jesse Graff MINIER (PNS)-Jesse Graff, Minier, died Sunday afternoon at Hopedale Hospital. He was taken to McReynolds Funeral Home, Minier.

Home, Paxton, is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 19, 1900, in Roberts, a son of William and Cornelia Johnson Day. He married Esther Talbott April 30, 1921, in Paxton. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Hanna, San Antonio, Tex.

a brother, Cletus Day, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Brauman, both of Thawville; two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Day, a charter member of the Piper City Lions Club and the Piper City Masonic Lodge, belonged to the Piper City United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the church. Mrs. Helen Baker DWIGHT (PNS)-Mrs. Helen "Pat" Baker, 64, of 307 N. Prairie, a nurse at the old Dwight Veterans Administration Hospital from 1937 to 1945, died at 2:30 p.m.

Sunday at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She had been a patient since Aug. 12. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dwight United Methodist Church, the Rev.

Charles W. Mann officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Baker Funeral Home and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.

She was born June 12, 1913, in Oklahoma, a daughter of Roy and Zella Chesnut 'Pad ick. She married James R. Baker Jut 3, 1941, in Dwight. Surviving are her husband; two sons, James P. Baker, Springfield, and Robert Baker, Dwight; a daughter, Miss Barbara Baker, Quincy; a sister, Mrs.

Faye Stuart, Guymon, a brother, Bruce Patrick, Midwest City, and two grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Grace Brunson TREMONT (PNS)-Mrs. Grace E. Brunson, 81, formerly of Tremont, who has lived with a daughter in Pekin for a year, died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday at Pekin Memorial Hospital.

Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Davis Mortuary, the Rev. Henry Sorenson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Pekin. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday at the mortuary. She was born Oct. 16, 1896, at Allen County, a daughter of Jesse and Ollie Cook Stovall. She married John M. Whitney Jan.

17, 1915, in Allen County. He died in 1946. She married James H. Brunson April 3, 1948, at Eureka. He died Aug.

26, 1977. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Rowden, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Dorothy Bass, Creve Coeur; Mrs. Margaret Joesting, Pekin, and Mrs.

Marie Peplow, Clarksville, a son, Murl Whitney, Pekin; a stepson, Loren Brunson, Roanoke; a brother, Eugene Stovall, Allen County, 16 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren. Three sisters, two brothers and a great-grandchild also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Tremont Baptist Church, to which memorials may be made. Archie Baker DANA (PNS)-Archie W. Baker, 81, a patient at Hawthorne Lodge, El Paso, for 2V2 years and a retired farmer and former Dana resident, died at 4:25 a.m.

Sunday at Mennonite Hospital, Bloomington. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rutland Christian Church, the Rev. James Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Rutland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Folkers Memorial Home, Min-onk, and an hour before the service Tuesday at the church. He was born Sept. 24, 1896, in Wenona, a son of Edward and Temperance Hughes Baker. He married Lela Bane May 21, 1921, in Dana.

She died in July, 1972. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dorothea Cade, Potomac, and Mrs. Saralou Isham and Mrs. Blanche Medley, both of Dana; a son, James Robert Baker, DeKalb; two brothers, Leslie Baker, Rutland, and Roy Baker, Lomita, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Three sisters and a grandchild preceded him in death. Mr. Baker was a member of Rutland Christian Church. Memorials may be made to the church's building fund. Car overturns; rural Bloomington man hurt ODELL-Robert A.

Koch, 26, R.R. 4, Bloomington, was injured slightly about 4:25 a.m. Sunday when his car ran off Interstate 55 and overturned, about three miles north of Odell, authorities said. State police said Koch, who declined hospital treatment, apparently fell asleep at the wheel. Emden unit to meet EMDEN (PNS)-The Emden unit of the Homemaker's Extension Association will meet at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Elmer Krusemark with Mrs. Leonard Krusemark as co-hostess. "Understanding Vision and The Eye" will be the lesson presented by Mrs. Emily McElhaney, Logan County Home Advisor.

ARMINGTON (PNS)-The funeral for Mrs. Bertha A. Adams, 87, of Arm-ington, who died Saturday at Hopedale Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Armington Christian Church. The Rev.

Dennis Corley and the Rev. Mickey Warrick will officiate. Burial will be in Oak View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at McReynolds Funeral Home, Minier.

She was born April 16, 1890, at Moweaqua, a daughter of David J. and Mary Ann Bilyeu Workman. She married Martin C. Adams Jan. 19, 1910, in Decatur.

He died in 1956. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Gussie Koons, Pana; four sons, Noble, War-rensburg; Lynn, Lincoln; Owen, Marquette, and Trenouth, Stuart, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Five sisters, a brother and two sons preceded her in death. She was a member of Armington Christian Church.

She was a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion Auxiliary, Armington. She was a charter member of the Christian Nursing Home Auxiliary, Lincoln. She was a 50-year member of the Gold Star Royal Neighbors. Memorials may be made to the Armington Christian Church. Mrs.

Pauline Schierer METAMORA (PNS)-Mrs. Pauline Schierer, 89, of Metamora and a resident of the Apostolic Christian Home, Roanoke, for two weeks, died at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St.

Mary's Catholic Church, with the Franciscan fathers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mason Funeral Home. She was born June 20, 1888, in Partridge Township, Woodford County, a daughter of John and Gertrude Waldschmidt Gangloff.

She married Edward J. Schierer Oct. 6, 1908, at Metamora. He died July 12, 1961. Surviving are five sons, Ralph, Leonard, Harvey, and John, all of Metamora, and Edward Jefferson City, three daughters, Mrs.

Ruth Thomas, Eureka, and Mrs. Bernadine Kneip and Mrs. Phyllis Kerker, both of Metamora; 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Metamora American Legion Auxiliary.

Heyworth gas main breaks, catches fire A gas main was broken and caught fire at Country Lane Trailer Court, R.R. 2, Heyworth, but was not serious, McLean County sherri sheriff's police said Sunday. A lot which had been the scene of a previous fire was being cleaned when the gas main was broken Sunday. The gas had been turned off by the time Heyworth firemen arrived. Med school admissions speech topic at ISU Mrs.

Ninzel Anoe, admission officer at Southern Illinois University's school of medicine, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Room 105 Felmley Hall of Science at Illinois State University. Saturday at Ford County Nursing Home, Paxton. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown-Miller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born Feb. 15, 1899, at Paxton, a son of C.H. and Tilda Larson Swanson. He married Bertha Lundy July 30, 1924, in Chicago.

She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Valarie Palmertree, Tampa, three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Volden, Gibson City.and Mrs. Evelyn Hanson, West Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Walter, East Lansing, Two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a retired mail carrier and had lived in the Paxton area all his life. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, Paxton, and served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He belonged to the American Legion, Paxton, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employes. Memorials may be made to the Ford County Nursing Home or the Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Eloise Salyers LINCOLN-Mrs. Eloise Salyers, 60, of 210 N. State died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home, the Rev. Harold Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Irish Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Mid-dletown, a daughter of Joseph and Katie Montgomery Endicott. She married Willard Salyers in February, 1934, in Lincoln. He died in 1946.

She is survived by a son, Philip Frankfort; a daughter, Mrs. Madeline Montgomery, Fort Lauderdale, her mother, Lincoln; three sisters, Mrs. Nina Radmacher and Mrs. Betty Pokorski, both of Lincoln; Mrs. Josephine Kindred, Lakeland, four grandchildren.

She was the owner of Dairy Lane in Lincoln. Previously she had worked in the personnel office of the Lincoln State School for 17 years. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. REPORTED SUNDAY KEVIN D. SALDEEN, 16, Estes Park, a former Paxton resident, was killed Friday near Estes Park when the van he was driving crashed.

CHESTER SEELYE, 77, R.R. 1, Green Valley, a foreman at the old Pekin Coal Mining Co. and retired owner and operator of Seelye's Fruit Farm, died Saturday. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Kuecks-Woolsey Funeral Home, Pekin.

Huser, 83, of 389 E. Fernwood, retired owner and operator of the Huser Garage, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday at Restmor Nursing Home. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Groveland Missionary Church, the Rev.

G. Robert Magary officiating. Burial will be in Groveland Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 4:30 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ludwig Mortuary and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.

He was born March 8, 1894, in Groveland Township, a son of Charles and Elizabeth Doering Huser. He married Mabel Dorothy Warner Oct. 28, 1927, in Groveland. She died Nov. 21, 1976.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne A. Huser, Morton, and Neal E. Huser, R.R. 1, Pekin; a brother, Henry Huser, Harl-ingen, and a grandchild. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Huser was a member of the Morton Masonic Lodge, the Morton American Legion Post and Groveland Evangelical United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Groveland Missionary Church. Woman hurt in 2-car mishap A rural Bloomington woman was injured Sunday night in a collision on Clinton Street near its intersection with Oakland Avenue, Bloomington police said. A car driven by Connie Hensley, 22, of 606 N.

Oak and a car driven by Richard Lindsay, 60, R.R. 2, collided about 8:09 p.m. A passenger in the Lindsay car, Judy Lindsay, 26, R.R. 2, was treated and released from St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center.

Mrs. Hensely, who was pulling onto Clinton from a car wash, told police her foot became entangled in the floor mat and she was unable to apply the brakes soon enough. Mishap injures motorcyclist LEROY-A 20-year-old motorcyclist was injured Sunday afternoon a mile east of the LeRoy spur when the bike's mud-covered wheels caused it to fall, McLean County sheriff's police said. Richard Floyd, R.R. 1, was taken to St.

Joseph's Hospital Medical Center by his father, where he was treated and released. He was pulling out of the lane of his residence onto the road when the accident occurred. Girl hurt in fall Jean McGuire, 57, Salem, was injured Saturday morning when she fell down steps at 307 Robinhood Lane. She was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center.

She was treated and released. age. Wayne Burton, 14, drowned when he slipped and bumped his head while he was trying to cross a flooded area at Danville High School. Danville received more than three inches of rain in six hours, the National Weather Service said. Authorities feared for a time that the dam might not hold.

Residents of the Carver Park housing project were urged to evacuate because of high-rising water from Stony Creek, but the water subsided without damaging the homes. At least two mobile homes in Danville were destroyed and a third extensively damaged by high winds. Walnut, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at Passavant Hospital, Jacksonville. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cody Memorial Home, Jacksonville. Burial will be in Jacksonville East Cemetery.

Help sought Paul Mills Paul Mills, 70, of 512 Grant, Normal, a retired McLean County sanitarian and a former employe of Sherwin-Williams Paint died after a short illness at 11:20 a.m.

Sunday at Brokaw Hospital. His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Carmody Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m. He was born Sept. 21, 1907, in Urbana, a son of Samuel and Bessie Lientz Mills.

He married Margaret O'Neill. She died in 1959. He married Frances Alexander in November, 1964. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Sharkey, Miami, and Mrs.

Mary Lettre, Monterey, Calif. a son, John P. Mills, San Diego, Calif. two stepsons, Willis A. Alexander III and John R.

Alexander, both of Brevard, N.C., and five grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death. Mr. Mills, a registered sanitarian with the State of Illinois, was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the church's memorial fund or Brokaw Hospital.

Mrs. Lucille Fry Mrs. Lucille Fry, Bradenton, a former Bloomington resident, died Saturday in Florida. Her funeral and burial will be today in Bradenton, Fla. She was born in Bloomington, a daughter of Thalbert Wilson and Mrs.

Grace Evans. She married Edwin G. Fry of Hammond, Ind. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Jaeger, Griffith, a son, Tom, Caracas, Venezuela; her stepfather, Boyd Evans, Bradenton; an aunt, Mrs.

Isa Mockert, 218 Kreitzer; a cousin, Dell Wheeler, R.R. 3, and four grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death. Tools stolen Bill Wince, Hudson told Bloomington police Thursday that' $904.82 in tools were stolen from his pickup truck Sept. 18 or 19 while the vehicle was being serviced at Eastland Texaco Service Station, Eastland Shopping Center.

Mrs. Kimmons The funeral of Mrs. Margie S. Kimmons, 56, of 1304 Hillcrest, Normal, a nurse at the Illinois State University Health Center, who died Saturday, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Metzler Memorial Home.

The Rev. Robert Ashman will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the memorial home.

She was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Cen-tralia, a daughter of Ellott and Nina Alice Murfin Caldwell. She married Joe B. Kimmons Dec. 18, 1951, in Biloxi, Miss.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Crutchley, 908 E. Oakland; three sons, Russell Kimmons, Quincy; Jon R. Kimmons, Carbondale, and Joe R. Kimmons, at home; a sister, Mrs.

Emily Luttrell, Clinton; a brother, John W. Caldwell, Del City, and seven grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Kimmons, a graduate of the Decatur-Macon County Hospital School of Nursing, was a member of Centennial Christian Church and Normal Post 635 of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Leonard Inskip Leonard G. Inskip, 53, of 43 Michigan Greenwood Trailer Court, a former Eureka Co. employe, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Hospital, Danville. He had been ill several years.

His funeral will be at 1:30 P.m. Tuesday at East Lawn Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Dennis Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born May 24, 1924, in New a son of Alvie and Verdie Kess-inger Inskip. He married Ruth Boss-ingham in Florida. She died in 1953. He married Betty Patterson April 27, 1963, in Springfield. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Phillip Inskip, James Inskip and Leonard Inskip and three daughters, Viola Inskip, Ruth Inskip and Carolyn Inskip, all of Burlington, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs.

Deborah Sue Rogers, Springfield; two brothers, Orin Inskip, Springfield, and Charles Inskip, Macon, and three sisters, Mrs. Rosaline Douglas and Mrs. Viola Anderson, both of Springfield, and Mrs. Ethel Easmann, Santa Cruz, Calif. Danville mops up; floodwaters recede DANVILLE (UPI)-Danvile residents, with the help of the National Guard, mopped up Sunday as floodwaters from a torrential rain drained into the Vermilion Lake and River.

Most electrical and telephone service was restored. Heavy rain and high winds struck Danville Friday night and early Saturday, causing an estimated $20 million damage, one death and 12 injuries. Rain produced floodwaters up to eight feet deep. Winds damaged mobile homes and knocked down power lines and trees. Mayor David Palmer asked federal and state officials for disaster declarations to help homeowners and businessmen recover from the storm dam.
