Destructive Fire Greenville, Miss. Memphis, April 10. A destructive fire took place at Greenville, at 2 o'clock Thursday morning, supposed to be the work of an incendiary. The loss includes the large flouring mill of X. Johnson where the fire commenced also the warehouse and office of Johnson Co.

the large two-story building owned by E. Enos as a general store, and a hotel kept by Newman the drug store of 1). White the bank of Kctchmau Farrar the store of J. Heidingsfelder, and of Nathan Pohl, wholesale liquor dealers, and the dwelling of J. Newman.

A heavy wind was blowing at the time, and the lower portion of the town was in great danger. The citizens worked with wonderful energy aud determination, and saved much property.
