Lieb of 812 .film street, became the bride Parian George Herbert, son I:Mr and Mrs John Berbers of Bancroft. Rev. Harold V. Cooper Officiated, in the«presence of the bride's immediate family and her grandparents, Mr and Mrs Adam Lieb of Algona. •The bride wore a winter-white faille street-length dress with matching jacket and hat, and a shoulder corsage of red roses; She was attended by Vera Semon of Algona, who wore a green fadlle dress with bronze accessories and flowers. Vernon Herbers of Bancroft served as his brother's best man. A reception for 125 guests was held at the Algona Country Club at 8:00 p.. m., with Mary Griese of Burt in charge of the guest book. Mrs Arthur > Mulligan of Bancroft jahd Opal Kern of Algona had charge of the gift table. Sorority sisters of the bride presided at? the buffet table. Mrs Harley Haas of Algona cut and served the four-tier 'wedding cake. Mrs Gene Zender and Joanne Dahl poured, and Mrs Richard Cook, Jean Lensing, Mrs Jeri McKean and Mrs Donald Winkel, all- of Algona, assisted with the serving. : '-..-• Mrs Vaughn Brown and Mrs Melvin Theisen, both of Algona, served the bridal .party;'and 1 Fat Bradley and Arthur Mulligan of Bancroft presided at the punch bowl. ' ' Following their wedding trip the young couple willimake their home in the Welp apartments at Bancroft, . The bride is a 1950 graduate of the Algona high school, and. a member of Beta Sigma Phi, international business girl's sorority. She is employed as bookkeeper by the Upper Des Moines Pub. Co. The bridegroom attended St. John's at Bancroft, and served two years, in the U. S. Marine Corps. Mary Eason Weds Mary Susan, daughter of Dr. and Mrs A. J. Eason and Ervin~ N. Ogland, son of Mr and Mrs Edwin Ogland of^. Ea'gle Grove were married.,Tuesday, Dec. 21 in the 'first Presbyterian church at Sioux FaDs, S. D. Rev. Clarence Adams officiating at the double- ring service. t Altar decorations were candelabra, poinsetta and Christmas greens. Mrs S. S. Steiber presided at the organ, playing "Lohengrin's"- • wedding • march* Robert Mills sang "Because" before the ceremony and "The Lord's Prayer" at the close of the service. The couple was attended by Mr and Mrs James Potter, brother- in-law an'd sister of the bride, and only members of the immediate families were present. • The bride wore a gray suit styled by Dior with avacodo green accessories. Her corsage was of red roses and she wore a pearl necklace, a gift of the groom. Mrs Potter wore a cocoa brown suit and green accessories. Her flowers were a corsage of yellow roses.. The bride is a graduate of the high school here, w a s at .the Broadlawns school of nursing two years and enrolled at Buena Vista college, Storm .Lake last fall. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Pi sorority, The groom was graduated from the Eagle Grove high school and served two years in the navy air corps. He is farming near Eagle Grove where the couple will be at home after the bride completes the semester at Buena Vista college followed by a trip through the south. They will also'attend the Mardi' Gras at New Orleans, La. Huenholds At Wedding Mr and Mrs Alwin Huenhold and Joyce attended the wedding Sunday at Clear Lake of Margaret Mae Edwards, daughter of Mr and Mrs Leo Edwards to John Rose of Los Angeles, Calif. The ceremony took place at 3 o'clock in the Methodist church. Among the guests were Mr and Mrs Herman Aalderks of Chicago, whose daughter, Marilyn served her cousin as bridesmaid. The bride is a niece of Mrs Huenhold. "Mr and Mrs Rose will be at home In New York City where Mr Rose js a TV script writer. Bhowey-Tea Hostess Mrs A. J. Eason gave a "pink and blue" tea Friday afternoon at which Mrs Gerald Stearns, nee Diane Schaap was honoreu. Twenty-three of her friends were guests. Lt. Stearns and his wue are located at Fort Benning, Gu., and came to spend the holidays at the parental Dr. C. D. Schaap home. Mrs A..A. Kiecker poured end Mrs Robert Richardson presided at the gift table. Weekend Guests .
