Killilea had secured practically the entire control of the Boston American team came as a decided surprise to local baseball men la.st evening. Just what It would mean no one seen was prepared to assert definitely.

The feeling was general among those interviewed by Post reporters that a complete overturn of the entire team was not unlikely. The opinion was ventured by ordinarily well-posted that Mr. Killilea. may decide to drop Jimmie Collins as manager and put In his place a man of his own choosing. Mr.

Killilea has the reputation of being an independent and rather radical m.anager, and this has Influenced several of the local men to believe that he may alter the whole policy of the team. 1.
