McIntosh, of Graceville, attended Rehobeth High School. He joined the Armed Forces in June, 1942, and was assigned to overseas duty in October of the same year. Private McIntosh returned to the States in January 1945 after serving for twenty. eight months in the European Theater of Operations. After a wedding trip to points in Florida, Private McIntosh left for Fort Lewis, Washington, to report for reassignment.

Wednesday evening following the rehearsal of ceremony plans, a dinner was given by the bride's parents at the Houston Hotel. BRIDAL COUPLE The bride, a popular member of the younger set here, is the only daughter of her parents, and her brothers are Master Sergeant Hudson Tillman Jones, of Camp Maxey, Texas, and Emery Edgar Jones, of Dothan. She attendthe Dothan schools and received her B. S. from Alabama Polytechnic Institute. She is descended from families long established in Georgia and North Carolina.

Maternally she is from the Jones and Tillman families and on her paternal side she is descended from the Nash and Jones families. The bridegroom, a son of W. L. Lamar, prominent druggist at Albermarle, N. is descended from the Clarke and Lamar families of Georgia and Alabama.

He received B. S. degree from Alabama Polytechnic Institute and for the past several years he has been employed as head pharmacist with H. R. Horne and sons, at Fayetteville.

E. S. Sponsors Special Course Dothan Chapter, Number 76, 0 E.S. held a school of Instruction Monday evening at the Masonic Temple with the following State officials in charge: Mrs. Annie Lou Hooten, of Birmingham, associate Grand Matron, Mrs.

Nancy Sasser, of Montgomery, past Worthy Grand Matron, and Mrs. Georgia Schwartz, of Birmingham, Worthy Grand Matron. Representatives were present from chapters at Abbeville, Columbia, Headland, Rehobeth, Echo, and Dothan. Mrs. A.

M. Payne and Mrs. William Reed and son, Billy, of Sa vannah, are visiting here as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Crawford.

Mrs. J. C. Kent was called to Marianna Tuesday because of the serious illness of her father, C. F.

at' a ceremony of beauty and. solemnity performed at four o'clock Thursday afternoon in the First Baptist Church. Dr. Alfred J. Dickinson officiated and the vows were exchanged in the presence of a large assemblage of guests.

Decorations in the stately church were of unusual beauty with palms and Oregon fern arranged in the chancel, forming a rich green background for massive floor baskets filled with Easter lilies and traceries of dainty fern. Smilax outlined the choir rail and festooned the window recesses. WEDDING MUSIC wedding music was under the direction of Mrs. Louise Wynn and Miss Betty Seymour was soloist. Miss Seymour's selections were "I Love You and "Because." Mrs.

Wynn played "Sweetest Story Ever Told' by Stultz and the traditional marches for processional and recessional. During the ceremony the soft notes 'of "Evening Prayer" were heard. ATTENDANTS Jim Lamar, of Albemarle, N.C.. brother of the bridegroom, served as best man and the ushers were W. R.

Jordan and Alvin Mount. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her cousin. Miss Eva Margaret Tillman, of Sunset, La. Miss Tillman wore a suit of emerald green tropical wool with black accessories and a corsage of orchids. The bride, who entered with her father.

Emery Edgar Jones, by whom she was given in marriage. was lovely in a Spring of bridal blue wool with matching coat. Her hat, a Bode' original, and other accessories were in navy, and completing her attire corsage of white orchids. "The bride's mother was gowned in A dressmaker suit of pottery pink with which she wore navy accessories and an orchid corsage. RECEPTION An informal reception at the bride's home followed the mony.

The rooms were in decoration of lilies and other white flowers. The receiving party included Mr. and Mrs. Jones. the bridal couple, Miss Annie Clarke, of Miami, aunt of the bridegroom, and Miss Tillman, maid of honor.
