The death of Rork, who was 59 years of age, marked the close of a career which started in New York, where he gained fame as the- producer of "Trlbly, the stage play, and aa general manager of the Floradora company, which featured the Floradora sextet. He came to Hollywood In 1918 and first was associated with Mack Bennett, later to became an Independent producer. He associated with Colonel Selig in the firm of Sellg de Rork, later Joining First National studios as an Independent producer.

He was an associate producer with the Fox Film 'corporation at the time of his death. -In the films Rork was credited with staging the "talkie" comeback of Clara Bow after she had given up film work. He produced the picture, "Call Her Savage," and was said to be planning another picture for the tlUan-haired screen star, Hoopla, when he was stricken. He Is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. Paul J.

Getty, formerly Ann Rork. ONLY ONE Southern California recital will be played this summer by Olga Steeb, popular California pianist.
