Ajri-nt Coeu wt-lu's iMintT to announce that Incorporation will again come up before tbe board of supervisors at Ventura on Thursday next at 2 p. m. and those having the matter in cbaige earnestly request that all citizens should interest themselves in the matter and if possible attend the session of the board. This is one of the critical points in the history of the town and it is for every property bolder and citizen to back the request for incorporation and use his influ ence to that end. The 21st session of the Woman's Parliament of Southern California will convene May 12-13, at Azusa, Cal.

DftiFttU. According to all reports the price of sugar has again been advanced. The Western Sugar Refineries Company, of which Claus Spreckles is president, has put a new rate of So. 45 per 100 pounds into effect, Tbe raise is 15 cents, although the way it ia announced makes it look like 10 cents. It is explained that the apparent advance of 40 cents really means 15 cents because if tbe goods are paid for in ten days, a rebate of 15 cents is made.

Tbe prices is now tbe highest iu six months or more. On Feo- ruary 9 tbe Western Refineries company declared an advance of 10 cents and on March a similar advance. It is reported that Southern California TMill, during the comiug season, harvest the biggest hooey crop in ten years. The plentiful rains have resulted in an extra heavy growth of sage and other shrubs from whose blossoms the bees obtain their materials. The bee men of the United States are coming to Los Angeles this year for their convention.

THE NEWS OF CAMARILLO On Friday last Randolph Tico of Camarillo was married at the El Rio Catholic church to Miss Anita Salga'do of Los Angeles. After the ceremony Mr.

and Mrs. Tico departed for Los Angeles in the afternoon after a wedding breakfast at tbe home of tbe groom's mother, Mrs. J. Tico. Tbeir departure was characterized by tbe usual showers of rice etc.

Friday night a most enjoyable dance was given at Somis and was well attended from all parts oft he valley. Tbe music was exceptionally good being rendered by a Mexican orchestra front Santa Barbara.
