exceedingly hard fought meet with the Baptists here last Satur daj' a fairly good line on the possible winners at the state contest could be gleaned Carey the find of the season for the Mowe men was the surprise of the meet here last week and when he took first in the pole vault and discus and third in the high hurdles Capt Lawler high point man in the I A last year succeeded in capturing twelve of the elusive points by his superior work in the high hurdles and field events added to this combination is Ivey holder of the state hih school record in the high jump and an ex ceptionally good man
