Daughtry Bettis Jane Erd GIVE EASTER PRIZES AT ZAVALA PARTY Washington Park Is Scene Of Class Gathering The L2 and H3 of Zavala school had an Easter egg hunt at Washington Park Prizes of large chocolate rabbits were given to the boy and girl who found the most Easter eggs The girl who won this prize was Maria Espinoza and the boy was Juan Gaitan The boy from H3 who won first place for pinning an egg nearest the center of a large paper basket was Daniel DuSang Jesus Labrado of low second won first place in his class Both boys received prizes of Easter baskets Games were played and both classes visited the animals at the Zoo Each child received a candy Easter bunny a chocolate egg and some colored Easter eggs The H3 at Zavala school decorated their room to carry out the Easier motif yellow bunnies on a blue background are seen gayly skipping along on one side of the room The bulletin board is bedecked with bunnies baskets and eggs in bright color All this is culminated in Easter baskets which are on display in the room These baskets are in reality match boxes covered with blue and pink crepe paper The wheels bunnies and harness were made of cardboard and covered Easter bunnies pulled wagons nests with colored eggs and rabbits of every description suggested that the high third was in the Easter parade The H3 Zavala school had an Easier program Those on the program:
