Last week while In Albion, we were shown a wind mill, invented by E. L. Hopkins, of this village, which In many respects, Is sold to be superior to any mill yet placed on the market Them dolma are baaed to a certain extent on durability, completeness, chwpnew and simplicity of eon-straction. It is very easily handled, nnd will take care of Itself In a gale without the care and attention so necessary in other mills. When out of gear it is perfectly still, and unlike other mills, does not move back and forth, in a manner to keep the water in the pump where In cold weather it will freeze.

It hw a longer shaft, and as an illustration of Us simplicity Mr. Hopkins uses only two attachments in connecting parts when there are elx used In other mills. Mr. H. proposes to call hte mill The Hub," iu deiforenee to the place which to many years hw been hla home; and because he hw struck a dead center an far as perfection In wind mills are concerned.
