A Old master painting is my original interest and certainly near and dear to my heart because when I was in Paris 1 basically was working with 16th-and 17th-century French art Because of where worked and where been developed a lot of other interests For example having worked at the Cleveland Museum of Art for 10 years I developed a very strong interest in Asian art because that is one of the premiere collections along with Kansas City for Asian art in the United States And when I went to Birmingham they west region or anywhere else for 1 doing for example a Meret Oppenheim show certainly another of these extraordinary Exhibitions that presents one of the pivotal artists of Rgfju-" realist period It will be shown in the gallery over the summer irr i We also want to work with collectors of contemr rary art and create a support group to develop that area Does your vision for the Joslyn include engaging the art of the region?
