KSHB expands evening news By BARRY GARRON TV Critic There will be more local news at1 KSHB Channel 41 and a new team of news anchors to help deliver it Beginning March 13 Channel 41 will introduce a 6 pm newscast to complement the ones at 5 and 10 pm Current anchors Pam Davis and Jim Condelles will be assigned to the 6 and 10 pm programs Laurie Roberts and Brent Hardin will anchor the newscast at 5 pm Roberts a native Kansan spent the last seven years at station KSNW in Wichita where she was news anchor at noon and 5 pm Before that she was an anchor reporter and news director at KEYN-FM in Wichita Hardin goes to Channel 41 from television station WHTM in Harrisburg Pa where he spent less than two years as anchor of the 5:30 pm newscast Before that he spent four years at KOTV in Tulsa Okla as weekend anchor and environment reporter He also worked at stations in Fayetteville and Fort Smith Ark Like other Kansas City television newscasts at 6 pm Channel 41 new newscast will be
