After setting the dedication date, commissioners also voted to formaly accept the two fire houses. Forest Durances the district's architect, reported he had inspected the two buildings and had found several minor oversights which will be corrected. Some of the oversights, however, turned out to be subcontractors awaiting delivery of certain fixtures and other construction details, he said. The commission also voted to file a notice of completion of the two new structures.
