Pratt Electric Co., also of Algona, had a low bid of $11,871 on' the electridal contract and a Glenwood'firm, Craig & Son, was loty. on plumbing and heating at $17,800. Pews, altars, railings, architect's fee and other costs added about $50,000 for a total cost of $265,000. Construction began in^ the spring of 1952.
