It was the Knights' third straight win. The Knights will meet the winner of the St. John's-Presentation game at 3:30 Wednesday at Bancroft. Al Grill held the losers to a pair of hits as he chalked up seven strikeouts in the short game. The winners got ten blows, including threa by Tom Kinsey. Clarence Metzger got a double and Darrell Mergen a triple for the winners, who got seven runs in the first, two in the second and four in the third to close out the game. The Knights downed Corpus Christi, 10-7, at Fort Dodge Friday afternoon, with Cecil Schil- moeller getting credit for the win. Dermand Wins Golf Club Title Nidas Dermand, senior at Algona high school, annexed the Algona Country Club golf championship with a 1-up decision over Gene Cook in the finals Monday. Cook was three down at noon after the first 18 holes, but came back to make a real match of it The two were tied at the end of the regulation 36 holes, and Dermand's par five on number five the forty-first hole, won the title The title was won last year by a high school student, Dean Evcrds of Ames.
