the above named band has only been organized a few months the players are well up in their parts and make excellent music They have progressed so nicely that it was decided at a recent meeting to few days Revival in Jail Smith Young who is confined in the Louisville jail and who has the death sentence hanging over him for an outrage committed upon a child some months ago is doing some telling religious work among his fellow prisoners He is holding prayer meetings regularly every afternoon and is making converts rapidly As a result of his efforts nearly a dozen prisoners have professed religion and will he baptized in the jail this week Ho is said to bo very much in earnest about his work and seemingly has no thought of getting a commutation of his sentence He thinks he will
