Nolsonvillo has mado a contract with the Directors of tho Zanesvillo Work House, by which those who violato tho ordinances and fail to pay their fines will bo sent to tho workhouse. An ordinanco has been passed making it unlawful for any person to use a bicyclo on any sidewalk, pavement or footpath, or to permit ono to remain or stand thereon, under a ponalty not exceeding $10. On Juno 8th next, Miss Nettie M. Kline, an accomplished and charming young lady-uud nioco of Mrs. Dr.

Raney, will ho married at tho homo of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Kline in Toledo, to Mr. Carroll James Webster a talented young attornoy of that city. John-It.

Ruehtel died of paralysis Monday evening, at his homo in Akron, lie established HuHiti-l Pplego in Akron, donating to It $500,000, nnd somo years ago foun ded tho town of Ruehtol in Athens County, where ho carried on extensive Iron and mining interests. Win Wanor has boon appointed Fish and Gam' Warden for Hocking County. Ho has already notified a number of parties who havo been chronic violators of tho game and fish laws along the canal and river to pack their traps by a day nnmed, or ho would bo after them. Mrs. Maggio Crouch' daughter of Mrs.

Noouen of this place, died Friday of last weok at her homo nt Wilson, Kansas. She had given birth to twins ono of which also died. Her sister Mrs Agnes Mc-Grath on hearing of her serious illness wont to soo her arriving thcro in timo for the funeral. Nicholas Dowers of Washington township, seems to bo in us much, or moro danger, than a sol-dier in actlvo service. Only a few mouths ago he had a serious time by getting crushed against a wall by his team, whilo at work.

Last Wednesday ho was engaged in shearing sheep, and whilo stooped at his work, a buck of tho flock Hprang at him and butted him in the side of tho face breaking the jaw bone. We did not learn how serious tho injury is, but hope he will pull through all right, as ho did before. It is not determined yet what action will bo taken by tho council to fill tho vacancy in tho city Troas urer's office, caused by tho death of Andy IIoll, whether they will appoint or order un election. An election would probably bo most satisfactory. Under tho modified Australian system wo as yet havo no election board ill this county.

It would bo well for tho respective party committees to recommend a board tho Secretary of Stato and have them appointed as there is no knowing when a vacancy in somo office may take plaeo and an election have to bo hold. Sometime last summer Fred Eownes learned that Ezra Stevens had a horso that ho would trade, and Fred went out to seo the animal. Stevens told him where tho mare was in tho field and that ho could go and look at it. Eownes went to seo it, and whilo doing so another mare in the field got after him and kicked him inflicting in juries that laid him up for several weeks. He sued Stevens for damages and recovered about be fore a jury in tho justice's court, from which Stevens took an appeal.

The caso was tried Thursday in common Pleas, and -the- jury after being out all night failed to agree and tho caso of courto goes over to next term. Tho "boys" who havo been camping sometime near Jerry Carpenter's had a glorious feast last Sunday on roast pig. Tho following persons wore present and partook of tho elegant repast: Win, Waner, O. W. Bronnle, Chas. Myers. Death of Andy IIoll, Jr. A fow days after tho spring election Andy IIoll, City Treasurer, elect, left homo for medical treatment. Prom tho timo ho "loft till about a week ago, his whereabouts wero not definitely known, but it was generally supposed that ho was attending somo medical institution in tho Stato.

Last Saturday word was received that ho was at a hospital in Toledo, and very sick. Representative W. P. Price wont up there Saturday evening, and found him so poorly that tho physicians said ho could not bo safely removed. It was found that ho had been registered at a hotel in Toledo for sometime, beforo going to tho hospital.

On Monday, his brother, Chris IIoll, wont up to seo him. lie wished to bo brought home, nnd Chris brought him back, arriving horo on tho evening train Wednesday. As tho train passed tho Falls Mill, ho drank a little milk nnd seemed somowhat refreshed. At tho depot his cot was transferred to a conveyance, and started for his homo by way of Hunter Street, but he died on tho way. Ho was 29 years old tho 1st of last January.

lie was in business several years at tho well known East End Grocory, which finally proved unfortunate. But ho continued to work ns long as his failing health would permit. Leo found equitably entitled to bo treated as bondholder of defendant company to extent of $107,408.00 on account of cash payment of $37,000 mado upon "XX" proporty indebtedness. Larwoll to stand in equity as bondholder for $115,000. Foregoing claims found good only as against bondholders, wtyo had no-tico of reorganization.
