NOW CITY IS LACKING CARS Although the city of Tacama will be able to construct its municipal tldaflats street railway extension In record time, it may be without street cars when the time for operation arrives. Commissioner Atkins announced Friday that he has been utterly unable to find suitable cars for sale In any part of the west. He will place advertisements In street car trade papers, hoping to locate ears In some other part of the country. "All available cars In the Northwest are going to be used for the American lake car said Atkins. "It is easy enough to get studdy little single-truck cars, but we want cars of big carrying capacity.

It would take nearly a year to receive cars that were made for us."
