Schiff man Jewelry Anchor Suction Teeth $5 Set Bo wen Elected Captain at Virginia. Last Saturday afternoon at a meeting of the football team, Hedley Mc-Neer Bowen, of Bramwell, W. was elected captain of the University football team for the season of 1911. This is his fourth year in the University and his fonrth year as end on the football team. Captain Bowen was elected to this position last year, but resigned because he thought he would be unable to play this year.

Captain Bowen, besides playing a strong game at end, is probably the best and most consistent punter in the South. He is quick to take his advantage of every weakness of his opponents, and he punts high and long to enable the men to get the runner in his tracks. He gets the ball off quick and few of his kicks have been blocked. College Topics. f.T lr' if.
