THE LOS ANGELES RECORD WEDNESDAY MAY 31 1933 STRANGE OUT OF CRIPPLED LINEUP New Outfielder May Add Strength to Oaks Mako Doeg Win Junior Net Crowns Gene Mako national junior doubles champion was looking for new worlds to conquer today as he contemplated his fourth and fifth Southern California tennis titles won yesterday in the 31st annual Southern California junior tennis tourney at Midwick Country club FIRST VICTIM Jack Kneraeyer Inglewood junior was the first to fall victim to the Trojan net smashing drives and accurate base-line placements Mako took the singles championship from Knemeyer by the score of 6-1 6-1 6-2 He later paired with Ben Dey to humble Knemeyer and Charles Carr 6-1 6-1 6-2 for the doubles crown The winning pair was never in danger rushing the net to sweep
