In those towns reports were in circulation, so we learn from the papers, that Medicine Lodge had been almost entirely demolished and nearly 300 people killed and wounded. For years we have heard of the "fool-killer" and have had a good deal of respect for him. but just now we are in favor of a "liar-killer" and think he should be armed with the latest improved guns and instruments of torture. The subject to be discussed is "baptism." Elder Kimball affirms that "sins are pardoned prior to and independent of baptism" and Elder Kinney denies. The debate will last at least two days.
