Mrs. F. B. Jacobs, who purchased from Rev, J. Cale Irs cottage on Main has taken possession of same, moving in on June 1st We welcome Mrs.

Jacobs to our town, There has been talk around town for a week that the S. A. L. would put into service a passenger train from Lewiston to Portsmouth soon. This train would pass Roxobel early in the morning and return at night.

This is good news and we hope the rumor is a correct one. The patrons of the road are entitled to better accommodation than the road gives, and even if this train did not pay, the S. A L. Co. should be willing to give them this train, as the business on this branch is a paying proposition.

And too the S. A as it is, forces those who would patronize them to use the A. C. even if they were not disposed to so do. If the people along the R.

and T. Branch care anything about their respective communities they would try to bring to pasB this extra and needed service and lets all push to this end. The Bank of Roxobel will build a larger bank building this summer and, we understand, that contract for same will be let soon. This is needed and therefore, will not come any too soon. It is expected that an up-to-date structure wMl be built The location will probably be near that of the old bank building and the new bank that will open for business the coming fall will be somewhere near the Post Office.

There are other improvements that are coming Roxobel 's way this year, reports of which will be made later. If Roxebel had Rich Square Drug Saving is making, but making is not saving. Open an account with us and "watch it grow. Cmpany, DiatCTOKs: J. T.
