Prison Director Dev-lin represented the Board, of Prison -Directors. -The proeeention counsel could not agree on the mode of pro Senator Wilson held that no Investigation of the general management of the prison eouJd be held as no specific charges against any particular persoa had een i made.

Shanahan contended that counsel for the State should prepare written charges against the Prison Directors, as they were re sponsible or the conduct of the War den. Governor "Waterman supported "Wilson. 1 Shanahan then withdrew, from the prosecution aad recess was taken. Shanahan testified that the findings cf the Assembly Committee were true as adduced from the. testimony.
