N. Henderson School Plans Announced NORTH HENDERSON - First day of school is Aug. 30 and children who will have their sixth birthday on or before Dec. 1, should be enrolled. Any new student in the district, which includes North Henderson and Alexis, should be enrolled immediately at the Unit office, school officials said. Children enrolled in the first, fifth, and ninth grades were required to have physical and dental examinations or at least a dental appointment before they will be allowed to begin school. Mrs. Alice Armstrong and Lee Tornquist were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Nail, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dublo of Alexis visited an evening recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Yung. They helped Yung's daughter Charlene celebrate her birthday anniversary. Woodhull Area News Briefs WOODHULL-Mr. Walter H. Johnson is a patient in the Moline Public Hospital for observation and treatment. Barry McVietty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry McVietty of Woodhull, and Dean Morland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Morland of Alpha, left Thursday for Ft. Sill, Okla., following a 2-week furlough from Ft.
