word than Agnew in Ohio an elementary fact of political life that may rescue the Republicans from the throeq of scandal strife and a wealthy Democratic nominee In a key US Senate race A Republican candidate by any other name would face almost certain defeat in the Nov election with so many things and the Episcopal church is the essence of Middle America conservatism a supporter of President Nixon's Vietnam policies a hardliner (on crime and campus unrest a believer in conservative fiscal policies Metzenbaum a Jew who made millions in the parking lot business came from humble beginnings
