Roseville Groups in Picnics, Meetings at Macomb Park Golesburg Register-Moil, Golesburg, III, Wed., July 31. 1963 IJL ftoSEVlLLE-FriendslUp Class Of the Roseville Baptist Church held its July meeting Sunday afternoon and evening at Olenwood Park In Macomb. Swimming and recreational activities were enjoyed during the afternoon. At 6:30 the group gathered in the large shelter house for a picnic supper. American Legion Auxiliary, and Mrs. Fred Kirby, secretary, are attending the annual state convention of the American Legion Auxiliary this week. Helpful At Hospital Mrs. Leo Mings and Mrs. Ruth McCullough of Roseville, contract bridge specialists for the Volunteer Services at Galesburg Research Hospital, report that three grand slams in a single seven- table bridge session highlight the outstanding quality of play at the Galesburg State Research Hospital. These "pink iadics," who are sponsored by the Lawson-Babbitt Post of American Legion Auxiliary, drive to Galesburg each Thursday to conduct a two-hour bridge session for a large group of patients. To finish off their day, they also assist with the feeding of patients, assist in commissary visits and in many ways share their friendship.
