Sweden May 24 1841 She married Mr Andrew Bengtson May 23 f870 Five children were born one of them dying at the age of twelve the other four children migrated toj America leaving the' parents in the old country After the children had established homes in America the parents decided to cross the Atlantic and come here to live also They arrived here in the year 1903 and have made their home with one of their sons here August Anere-son Mrs Bengtson took ill and suffered but a few days until she died Sept 29 1920 The funeral services took place at the some and the re mains interred in the for the purpose of constructing building and repairing such bridges and culverts in said county as are now or may hereafter be needed or required and for the year ending January 1 1922 Whereas there is an increased number of bridges and culverts to be constructed and kept in repair in said county and the expense of the same has materially increased and Whereas numerous bridges and cluverts are now in need of and will hereafter require repairs the expense of which is materially increased and Whereas there are insufficient funds on hand or to be paid in to meet the expense of said improvements ancf Whereas the necessity for said construction building and repairing of said bridges and culverts is urgent and immediate and Whereas the County Board of Saunders county Nebraska deem it necessary to assess taxes the aggregate of which will exceed the rate of one dollar and fifty cents per qne hundred dollars valuation of tne property of the county the County Board having heretofore caused to be levied approximately said rate of taxes for the year 1920 Now Therefore in consideration of the premises Be It Resolved and Ordered by the County Board of Saunders county Nebraska as follows: 1 That the sum of $68000 is hereby determined to be the approximate amount of money in excess of the sum permitted to be raised by the constitutional limitations necessary to properly construct build ad repair the bridges and culverts of Saunders county which now or may hereafter be required to be constructed built or repaired for the period of time ending January 1 1922 2 That notice is hereby author ized ordered and directed to be given to the qualified electors of Saunders county Nebraska that by a resolution and order unanimously adopted a and made by the County
