Some comes from Italy, which has inspired so many of its own designers as well as those from the United States and other countries. Many of the designs on display, however, stem from top U.S.

designers. Interior design, these days, is not confined to furniture. The big Swing toward wallpaper and fabrics will set a new tone in a traditional home. The usual headboards for the conservative and bunk beds for kids, but the famous water bed guaranteed to snuggle up to the human form and even the head, hence no pillow. furniture is great. Some of it seems totally impractical for long-term use, but fun and the kids love it. Bunk beds with a new twist such as climbing up a tree and maneuvering through branches is fun for a slumber party, but not for the mother who makes the beds.

And then there are the stack-ups for the tots. They come in wild bright colors and are sturdy (even a hefty adult can sit on the chair) and when the over, mother can unscrew the legs of table and chairs and put them away in a small space. Traditional lines have not been forgotten.
