Redlands Daily Facts Friday, May 8.1964 - 11 LIVING ROOM — Paneling above fireplace adds distinctive touch to tha room. FAMILY ROOM — Opens directly to front patio through sliding glasi door. Brashears new home built on Palo Alto by Babcock Zoned for family living is tlic new custom home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brashears located at 633 Palo Aho drive. The distinctive house was built by Babcock Construction Company. .Mr. Brashears is a.-isocialed w i t h Slockwcll and Binney in San Bernardino. The U shaped home lias one side devoted to the formal entertainment area, dining room and master bedroom. The center portion of the home contains the family room and kitchen while the childrcns rooms are adjacent to the family kitchen area but separated from the living room. The home folds around a front patio courtyard that is secluded from the street through the use of a slumpslone wall. Black wrought iron panels arc alternated with the slumpstone in the front. .\ gale opens to a long covered walk that leads beside the garage to the double entry doors. The walk is part of ;thc front patio which has a white wrought iron and glass table and matching chairs. Natural finish double doors with brass pulls open into the entry which has a wallpaper mural on one wall. To the right the hall leads into the spacious living room and to t h c master suite. I To the left is the family room land kitchen and beyond are the children's bedrooms. The Brashears two oldest sons, G r g and Chris have a corner room that overlooks the front garden. Anne, Mike and Carol, the youngest, have the other chil- Idrens rooms. At each end of the childrens wing is located a bathroom with nullmans and combination bat- ttub and shower.
