Other craftsmen besides Soldner, a potter and sculptor who lives in the house he built in Aspen and teaches at Scripps Ck)llege in Caltfornia, include: Peter Voulkos, a sculpUwr and potter from Berkeley; Otellie Loloma, a full-blooded Hopi Indian who teaches ceramics at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Sante Fe; Dorian Zachai, a resident of Richmond, N.H. who weaves tapestries; Clayton Bailey of Crockett, Calif., who makes comic creatures of clay and plastics; James Tanner, a Flwida Negro and one of this country’s outstanding sculptors in glass; Toshiko Takaezu, who works with fabrics and ceramics and teaches at Princctwi; Harry Nohr, who searches the forest for (Kid birch and spruce burls which he fashions into exquisite bowls; and J. B. Blunk, a resident of Inverness, Calif., who uses the burls of the giant redwoods to create sculptures. Guest star Lee Grant portrays a wealthy widow, withdrawn since the death of her husband, who begins to feel involvement with people again when she becomes attached to a 10-year-old patient, Tavo Enriquez (Fabian Gregory) on CBS’s MEDICAL CENTER. Robert Ryan and Stewart Granger star in ‘‘THE CROOKED ROAD,” a tale of foreign intrigue about a newspaper reporter on the verge of the biggest story of his career which would destroy the dictator of a small Balkan country, on The CBS Friday Night Movies. South Dakota’s historic community of Spearfiah officially designates itself “Jerusalem” once again this summer when townspeople resume performances of the Black Hills Passion Play in the local amphitheater.
