THE PARIS NEWS, THURSDAY, JULY 9, General Motors Science Show Closes Here Previews of Progress, the miracle-making General Motors show, closed out its Paris appearance Tuesday with two more presentations. The Previews were presented in zhortened version to the Paris K5- wanis Club at their Tuesday noon luncheon, then in full form for a free public show Tuesday night at the Paris Junior College Auditorium. Richard A. Breidenthal and Alec Canavan of GM's public relations staff presented the show. It was brought here through the cooperation of local General Motors dealers.

BPW District Meet in Paris Is Discussed The Business and Professional Women's Club at the first meeting its year, he a plans for planning meeting here July 19, for the District 12 fall conference to be held in Paris, probably the latter part of September. Miss Mary Louise McCoin, presiding for the first time since her installation, announced that Miss Miriam Coleman will be program chairman for the conference, the first one to be held since the BPWC's re-districting. David William Zehetner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl William Zehetner of Negley, who enlisted at Paris for four years Air Force service, is now in basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
